HeadStart Youth Inc.

Headstart Youth is a Christian based youth mentorship program. The goal is to provide the young ladies with the tools to make positive choices, stay safe, understand their value, know their worth, and to prepare them for adulthood. We offer workshops to help teen girls navigate the teenage years. Headstart holds a safe space to have honest conversations, develop new relationships, learn relevant skills & information, and create lifelong memories.

Headstart helps young ladies see themselves how God sees them. It’s easy to forget your worth when the world is telling you what you’re not and who you should be. Our sessions help reinforce how valued, treasured, and worthy they are.

TO PREPARE THEM FOR ADULTHOOD AND SUCCESS

As adults, we sometimes look back and think, “I wish I would’ve learned that when I was younger.” Headstart prepares young ladies for adulthood. Studies have shown that youth mentorship promotes improved social, behavioral, emotional, and academic development. The founder of Headstart Youth has over a decade of experience serving as a Law Enforcement Officer. The program partners with local Law Enforcement agency's to equip the young ladies with tools to keep them safe.
